Varley Vehicles expand their capabilities with Frame’s technological expertise

Introducing vehicle connectivity …

Varley Vehicles understands the need for smart vehicles, and that’s where our subsidiary Frame Group comes in. With Frame’s innovative solutions and technological expertise, Varley Vehicles has a new and exciting capability – Vehicle Connectivity.

We now have the ability to retrofit existing vehicles into smart vehicles, and to incorporate vehicle connectivity into new smart vehicle designs.

Our solutions are crafted to leverage modern high-capacity network, compute, storage, and intersystem connectivity – enabling your existing assets to be more technologically advanced, connected, efficient and productive.

Here is a long list of the services Frame can provide:

1. Mobile Command Centers: Equipping specialized vehicles with high-performance computing, storage, and network capabilities to serve as mobile command centers during emergencies, disaster relief efforts, or large-scale events.

2. Emergency Response Coordination: Facilitating communication and coordination among first responder vehicles, command centers, and other emergency services through high-capacity networks and secure inter-system connectivity.

3. Integrated IoT Ecosystems: Integrating vehicles into the broader Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem to enable seamless data exchange with other connected devices, sensors, and systems, necessitating interoperability and standardised communication protocols.

4. Safety and Security Systems: Implementing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), collision detection, and emergency response systems, which rely on high-speed network connectivity, powerful compute resources, and storage for storing and analyzing vast amounts of sensor data.

5. Mobile Workforce Productivity: Enabling remote workers to access enterprise applications, collaborate with colleagues, and perform tasks while on the move using specialist field service vehicles equipped with high-capacity network connectivity and compute resources.

6. Real-Time Fleet Management Systems: Utilising high-capacity networks and compute power for real-time tracking, monitoring, and optimization of vehicle fleets to enhance operational efficiency, route planning, and resource allocation.

7. Telematics and Vehicle Diagnostics: Gathering and analysing vehicle data in real-time to monitor performance, predict maintenance needs, and optimize fuel efficiency, requiring robust storage and compute capabilities.

8. Predictive Maintenance: Leveraging data analytics and machine learning algorithms to predict equipment failures and schedule proactive maintenance, demanding significant compute power and storage capacity.

9. Remote Asset Management: Enabling remote monitoring and control of vehicle systems, such as locking/unlocking doors, starting engines, or adjusting temperature settings, necessitating reliable network connectivity and secure storage.

10. Field Service Automation: Supporting field service technicians with access to real-time data, remote expertise, and diagnostic tools through connected vehicles, requiring robust network connectivity and storage for knowledge bases and manuals.

11. Fleet Optimisation and Sustainability: Leveraging data analytics and optimization algorithms to minimise fuel consumption, reduce emissions, and optimize vehicle routing, requiring sophisticated compute resources and storage capacity.

12. Environmental Monitoring and Compliance: Deploying specialized vehicles equipped with sensors and monitoring equipment to collect environmental data, ensure regulatory compliance, and respond to incidents, relying on high-capacity storage for data archival and analysis.

13. Autonomous Vehicle Operations: Supporting the deployment and operation of autonomous vehicles by providing high-speed network connectivity for real-time data exchange, powerful compute resources for onboard processing, and secure storage for sensor data and algorithms.

14. Customer Experience Enhancement: Enhancing the customer experience through connected vehicle services such as in-car entertainment, personalized recommendations, and concierge services, which rely on high-capacity network connectivity and compute resources.

15. Data Security and Privacy: Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive vehicle data, customer information, and communication channels against cyber threats, requiring secure storage, encryption, and network protocols.
