Varley’s Tomago facility end-to-end manufacturing capability ranges from in-house fabrication, weld-cells, blast chamber, multiple paint booths and extensive production lines to facilitate multiple parallel batch production lines. Varley Tomago site has + 5 large manufacturing areas with high capacity overhead cranes and a large hard stand to accommodate large volumes of Specialised Vehicles or Defence systems storage capability. Varley Tomago facility focuses on ensuring that we deliver high quality & cost effective solutions to our customers through agile production manufacturing processes. Our Tomago facility allows us to adjust production run/fabrication or assembly to meet or accelerate to our customers’ requirements. Our ability to adjust the production line or material purchasing allows us to de-risk our customers projects.

Carrington
The Varley Group Carrington site is centrally situated in the Port of Newcastle and provides direct access for shipping and rail and is the home of Varley’s Services division.
The facility is set on over 10 acres and boasts multiple yards, large scale sheds and lifting equipment. The site is set up for rail and shipping industry services, equipment reconditioning, power generation component servicing, and on-site repair deployments. It is also a key location for custom and special projects.
Carrington is the employment hub for up to 600 Varley Group personnel.

Norship, Cairns / Darwin
Norship, a subsidiary of Varley Group, provides trusted maritime solutions to its valued customers across Australasia and the Pacific, and has a 75 year heritage across maritime, shipbuilding and engineering industries.
Norships head office is in Cairns where it also operates a large scale, well-resourced Shipyard. Complimented by an experienced Darwin based team, Norship offers the largest Maritime, maintenance workforce in Northern Australia.
These shipyards are strategically located to allow Varley Group to develop and service multiple maritime platforms for commercial, defence and humanitarian applications.
Norship manages high intensity dockings, maintenance periods and refits on Australian Border Force, naval patrol boats, pacific patrol boats, tugs, fishing vessels, tourism fleet vessels, luxury yachts, landing craft heavy and small support vessels.

Melbourne is home to Varley Group subsidiary Integrated Design & Engineering Solutions (IDES), an advanced product development and systems integration company specialising in vehicle systems.
It is a flexible site capable of design, development, engineering, evaluation, low volume production and sustainment services under one roof.
The Melbourne site is home to approximately 25 Varley Group engineers, designers, technical staff, tradespeople and administrative personnel.

The Perth site, located 18km south-west of the CBD houses Varley Group subsidiary Custom Quip Engineering (CQE). From their purpose-built workshop CQE specialise in quality road transport equipment including steel and aluminium tipping
trailers, tankers, flattops, drop decks and dollies.
CQE’s qualified team offer design, development, engineering, production and maintenance services, as well as sand blasting and painting services.
CQE has in-house state of the art painting facilities enabling safe production, efficient turn-around and premium quality results.
